Step 1 – Find A Theme You Like
The first step in the process is to find a theme that you like and that represents the kind of image you want to portray to the public. There are literally thousands of themes available for WordPress. You can pick one of the free WordPress themes or pick a premium theme from our list of preferred vendors. Either way, there’s no additional cost to you.
Keep in mind that premium themes are going to have more functionality and therefore more for you to learn to get the most out of them.
Step 2 – Send Us Your Content
The second step in the process is to send us your content and images. Keep in mind that you’ll get five pages with our standard plan, a Home page, About page, Contact page and up to two others, typically your products and/or services. We’ll be glad to add additional pages or do other customization at an additional cost.
Step 3 – Set Up Your Hosting Account
The third step in the process is to set up your hosting account. You’re going to need a hosting account in order for your site to be publicly available. We use HostGator for all of our sites and we highly recommend them. Their service and support has been excellent. The cost is about $10 per month for their Baby Plan. Follow this link to get set up today. Be sure and save your welcome email. We’ll need the information in it to get your site set up.
